Site Supervisor – Large-Scale Ground Mount Solar

We’re working with a major renewable energy contractor delivering utility-scale solar projects across the UK. With a strong project pipeline and continued national expansion, they’re now hiring Site Supervisors to support their ground mount solar projects on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll assist in managing day-to-day operations on large-scale solar farms, ensuring safe, efficient delivery from mobilisation to completion. This role is open to candidates from civil, mechanical, or electrical backgrounds with relevant site supervision experience.

Key Details:

  • Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

  • Permanent position with long-term project pipeline

  • Travel and accommodation provided where required

  • Projects located across England and Scotland

Requirements:

  • Valid SSSTS certification (mandatory)

  • Site-based experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical works

  • Confident coordinating trades and subcontractors

  • Strong understanding of health and safety on active construction sites

  • Ability to track progress, communicate effectively, and support site leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise works on site, ensuring compliance with design, schedule, and safety standards

  • Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and workforce

  • Monitor subcontractor activity and ensure high quality of work

  • Report site progress and issues to the Site Manager

  • Maintain daily records and assist in HSE compliance
