Job summary

Ernesford Grange Community Academy is seeking a dedicated Site Services Officer to help run the site smoothly across Ernesford Grange and Riverbank. You will supervise the site team in janitorial, cleaning, and maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for educational and community activities at the campus and MAT sites.

The role requires numeracy and literacy, a First Aider or willingness to train, and a flexible approach to hours including alarm calls and multi-site work.

Qualifications

• A good basic level of numeracy and literacy skills.
• Qualified First Aider or willing to train.
• Willingness to undertake induction and further training.
• Experience of working calmly under pressure.
• General practical skills and/or maintenance experience.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including alarm call outs and multi-site working.
• Ability to carry out minor repairs, maintenance and manual handling activities safely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support and directly supervise the site team in the provision of all site service activities (janitorial, cleaning, maintenance, monitoring).
• Ensure the site is safe, maintained, attractive and suitable for educational and community activities on site and across MAT schools.
