Job Description:

• Main Purpose of Job: Managing a team of Site Services Engineers – delegating and prioritising maintenance works.
• As the Site Service Manager, you will be responsible for all:
• Gas Systems
• HVAC Systems
• Drainage & Effluent
• Building & Facilities
• Infrastructure
• Boiler and Steam systems
• Compressed air systems
• Organising and managing all third-party contractors
• Managing all compliance across the site and carrying out regular inspections, e.g., legionella levels
• Looking at ways to improve the overall efficiency of the site, such as reducing energy consumption and waste management
• Managing any related projects and continuous improvement programmes
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are recorded appropriately
• Complying with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times
• Ensuring all Department Systems & Policies are in place and being adhered to
• Ensuring safety & quality standards are being followed
• Monitoring Technical Systems to support a “due diligence” defence in case of food safety or quality issues
• Qualifications:
• Time Served, Qualified to minimum HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline
• Good communication skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and contractors
• Experience:
• Experienced in a senior Site Services, Utilities, or Facilities Role – ideally with good knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry
