University College School is seeking a proactive Services Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a safe and well-maintained environment across its facilities. This role involves managing internal teams and liaising with contractors, playing a crucial part in maintaining a conducive atmosphere for learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background and a hands-on approach to facilities management.
Monday – Friday: 40 hours per week (7am – 4pm with one hour unpaid lunch break) • Occasional weekend and evening cover when needed.
Location: UCS Foundation: Frognal (Senior School), Junior Branch, PrePrep and Playing Fields).
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised Services Manager to join a successful and respected department at one of London’s leading independent day schools.
This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations, safety, and presentation of UCS facilities across all Foundation sites. The successful candidate will ensure our school environment is clean, safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning.
You will be responsible for managing internal teams (including caretaking, security, and maintenance) as well as liaising with and overseeing external service providers. You’ll work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver a high standard of facilities support throughout the school year.
