Job summary

Greencore site at Holbeach St Marks is seeking a Site Services Maintenance Operative (Days). You’ll join a fast-paced, high standards warehouse environment responsible for despatch, goods handling and site upkeep. Your day will include admin tasks, stock checks, and operating a forklift to move pallets.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team, focusing on HSE, accuracy and timely processing of deliveries, with opportunities for development within our growing food manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Relevant logistics/despatch experience in food manufacturing or warehousing.
• Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences held and valid.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy with good documentation skills.
• High attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Strong team player with clear communication and reliability.
• Proficient computer skills and warehouse systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take part in office admin tasks and team coordination.
• Health & Safety monitoring in the area.
• Check and record incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Provide samples for Quality Controllers while unloading.
• Move pallets using electric truck/forklift.
• Load and unload vehicles with pallet truck.
• Prepare goods for transportation; receive/unload deliveries.
• Replenish end-of-line, despatch and logistics areas.
• Count stock; transfer and dispose materials as required.
• Monitor areas for required temperatures; maintain GMP standards.
• Complete machinery start-up checks.
