Job summary

Camfil UK is seeking a Site Service Engineer based in the South Midlands to London area. The role involves daily HVAC engineering activities including servicing, maintenance, and installation of filter systems across customer sites in the UK.

Site Service Engineer

Based in the South Midlands to London area, the role involves day-to-day completion of requests to carry out various HVAC engineering activities on customer sites across the UK. The role is based on a 42-hour working week. On occasion, there may be a requirement to work evenings, nights, or weekends to meet operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Filter changes on a daily basis as orders come in.
• APC (Air Pollution control) dust collector servicing & maintenance.
• Installation of new filter holding framework.
• Coil cleaning.
• Cleaning including critical vent in hospitals.
• Terminal housing & Filter unit, VCD, Access door, Filter pressure gauge installation.
• Ductwork modifications.

The Ideal Candidate Would Have

• Basic knowledge of air filtration / HVAC (preferred but not essential).
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal work / duct work installation experience (preferred but not essential).
• Capital Project HVAC installations experience (preferred but not essential).
• Full driving licence (no more than 3 points) as a company van will be supplied.
• Good IT skills in Word / Excel and Microsoft office (preferred but not essential).
• Flexibility in relation to working times and site locations to meet the fast-paced demands of our customers and support our business in achieving reactive response times.
