Job summary

ABM is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at our Oxford site (OX2 8GD). You will ensure coverage, coach officers, and maintain safety and client service standards on shift.

Ideal candidates will have a valid SIA licence and prior supervisory security experience, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. This full-time role offers exposure to a range of safety and compliance responsibilities and opportunities to advance within ABM.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
• Prior experience in a security role.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of security team members at the assigned location.
• Ensure all posts are covered and staffing issues are addressed quickly.
• Monitor officer performance, attendance, appearance, and adherence to site procedures.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate post orders, updates, and priorities clearly.
• Support onboarding and training of new security team members.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accurately.
• Partner with leadership to address performance concerns and recognize strong performance.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies, client expectations, and safety requirements.
• Perform routine site inspections to identify risks, gaps, or service issues.
• Build a professional working relationship with the client and support day-to-day communication.
• Assist with scheduling, call-offs, and coverage adjustments as needed.
