Job summary

Angard Staffing seeks experienced Temporary Security Officers to join the Royal Mail site operations. You will patrol, control access, conduct searches, maintain site security and keep detailed security logs in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Ideal candidates have prior security or gatehouse experience, excellent communication, staying calm under pressure, and a strong attention to detail. Pay is competitive with overtime and peak-rate enhancements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, gatehouse or site-based roles.
• Experience conducting searches using search wands and randomisers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the site and maintain overall security.
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors and contractors.
• Conduct searches and report security concerns.
• Maintain logs and security reports; respond to emergencies.
• Liaise with site management on security matters.
• Ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
