Job summary

CraneAuthentication seeks an experienced Site Security Manager to establish and maintain the Security Printing Management System (SPMS) in line with ISO 14298:2021. You will lead risk assessment, certification readiness, internal audits, and stakeholder engagement to protect high-value products and sensitive information across design, production, storage, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience managing security programs for high-value printed products and/or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to design and operate end-to-end controls for secure materials, data, and processes.
• Knowledge of ISO14298 requirements and practical implementation.

AspartofourgrowthwearelookingforanISO14298SiteSecurityManager,whereyouwillbepartofaglobalbestinclassOperationsteam.This is to manage the Integraf Security Printing security standards and overall site security of our Washington and Leicester UK sites.

PositionSummary&Objective

TheISO14298SecurityManager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the site’s Security Printing Management System (SPMS) compliant with ISO 14298:2021. The role ensures that security controls across people, processes, technology, and facilities effectively protect high-value products and sensitive information throughout design, production, storage, and distribution. This position leads risk assessment, control design, certification readiness (including Intergraf certification where applicable), internal auditing, corrective and preventive actions, and stakeholder engagement to meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

This role covers both Crane Authentications Washington, UK manufacturing facility and an R&D laboratory in Leicester.

• LeadthesitesecurityprograminalignmentwithISO14298andcompanypolicies.
• ChairSecurityManagementReviews;trackactions,KPIs,andimprovements.
• PartnerwithOperations,Quality,EHS,IT,Legal/Compliance,andR&Dtoembedsecurityintodailyactivityandchangeinitiatives.
• Maintainallcustomerrelatedsecurityrequirements.
• Completeinternalinspectionsanddrivecorrectiveactionsinlinewiththerequirementsofsecuritystandards.
• ProvidesupportforSecurityOperationsCentrepersonnel.
• Overseepersonnelvetting,confidentialityrequirements,andneed-to-knowpermissions.
• Overseevalidatedprocesses,changecontrol,anddocumentedapprovals.
• Coordinate with IT/InfoSec to secure digital assets (design files, data, keys) via encryption, access control, backups, and controlled transfers; align with ISO 27001 where relevant.
• Leadcorrective/preventiveactionsandmaintaincertificationevidence.
• Leadincidentresponse,investigations,root-causeanalysis,reporting,andcorrective/preventiveactions.
• Assessandmonitorsecurity-criticalsuppliers;ensurecontractualandauditcontrols.

PositionQualifications

Experience:

• Significantexperienceinsecuritymanagementwithinsecurityprinting,identitydocuments,banknoteorproductauthenticationindustries,orhighlyregulatedmanufacturing.
• Demonstratedabilitytodesignandoperateend-to-endcontrolsforsecurematerials,data,andprocesses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• DeepunderstandingofISO14298requirementsandpracticalimplementationinaproductionenvironment.
• Excellentleadership,coaching,communication,andstakeholdermanagementskills;abletoinfluenceacrossfunctions.
• Analytical,data-driven,andproficientwithMicrosoft365toolsandsecurity/incidentmanagementsystems.
• Professionalcertifications(e.g.,ISOManagementSystems,ISO27001LeadImplementer/LeadAuditor,ASISCPP/PSP)advantageous.
