Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a proactive Security Supervisor to lead and support security teams, ensuring high training standards and readiness across sites. You will promote Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness while managing schedules, audits and safety compliance.

The role requires a Front Line SIA licence, a valid Driving Licence and experience in a similar security position, with a strong emphasis on lawful, ethical conduct and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Front Line SIA licence is required.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• Experience in a similar security role.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support security teams, ensuring training and briefing.

• Manage scheduling, Timegate and holidays up to 6 months ahead.
• Conduct monthly site audits for compliance with paperwork and procedures.
• Oversee attendance management and respond to triggers.
• Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as required.
• Support development of specialist and contractual training with Branch/Training Team.
• Ensure policies comply with ISO 9002 requirements.
• Health & Safety: ensure team complies with procedures and PPE.
• Maintain understanding of all departmental operations and assist Branch Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Lead and support the security teams, ensuring they are well-trained, briefed, and ready to perform their duties at all times.
• Promote and exemplify the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Manage scheduling, Timegate, and holiday planning up to 6 months in advance for both sites.
• Conduct monthly site audits to ensure compliance with contract paperwork and procedures.
• Oversee attendance management, taking action when absence trigger points are reached.
• Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as required.
• Support the development of specialist and contractual training with the Branch/Training Team.
• Ensure all policies and procedures comply with legislative and ISO 9002 requirements.
• Health & Safety:
• Ensure the security team understands and complies with all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all departmental operational functions.
• Support the Branch Manager/Deputy Branch Manager with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, and part-time education during that period.
