About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Security Manager to oversee and lead all security operations at our allpay site in Hereford.

As the Site Security Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all security measures to ensure the safety of the site, personnel, assets, and operations. You will lead a small team of security personnel and liaise with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead on all physical security design and implementation, securing the whole site to the highest standard.
2. Manage security measures, overseeing sophisticated access control systems, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems.
3. Lead and manage the security team.
4. Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services when required.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.
6. Perform security inspections and regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
7. Provide support and guidance on security standards, regulations, and best practices to the workforce.
8. Maintain accurate records to the highest standards.
9. Be a key member of the HSE Forum, working with other managers to ensure safety and security across the site.
10. Support the Head of Estates in managing suppliers for system maintenance and upgrades, including building business cases and strategic planning.

This role is an active, hands-on position, providing a high visibility presence to all employees and visitors at allpay.

About You

Requirements for the role include:

1. Proven experience in security management, preferably in a site-based role.
2. Extensive experience with CCTV, alarm systems, and access control technologies.
3. Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH is advantageous.
4. Appropriate qualifications and memberships, preferably trained to licensed SIA level.
5. Leadership and team management skills.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence colleagues and managers confidentially.
7. Conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
8. Knowledge of UK security laws and regulations.
9. Event management experience is desirable.
10. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends.
