ACR is working with one of the UK's leading residential developers, currently recruiting for a Construction Planner/Site Secretary to join their team. As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for developing and updating construction programme schedules, coordinating site routes and layout plans with Construction Managers, and tracking project progress through regular reports and site visits.

What we require from you

- Experience with MS Project or equivalent software
- Knowledge of construction programming and project planning requirements
- Familiarity with construction regulations and building standards
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
More about the Construction Programmer role
- You will play a significant role in developing a unified planning system used by the Construction department and the wider business
- Assist with the preparation and revision of construction and preconstruction programmes
- Assist with the preparation and alteration of construction logistics plans, visual time slices, and tender presentations (from a construction planning perspective)
- Assist with the production of 3D models
- Assist with the preparation of CEMPs (Construction and Environmental Management Plans)
- Prepare progress reporting schedules in Excel
- Update monthly progress reports on projects
- Maintain the programme issue record, ensure proper filing, and distribute up-to-date programmes and logistics
- Obtain feedback from sites regarding programme accuracy for continuous improvement
- Visit sites to broaden knowledge of construction methodology and standards and verify reported progress
