YOUR ROLE

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our clients' platforms. Your focus will include building strong observability practices, aligning with the SRE mindset & principles, and driving continuous improvement. This involves:

  1. Defining and implementing Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to measure and maintain system and application performance, ensuring services meet reliability targets.
  2. Instrumenting applications to collect metrics, logs, and traces for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  3. Creating dashboards and configuring alerts for real-time system health visibility.
  4. Assessing and enhancing Kubernetes capabilities, improving DevOps efficiency through innovation, agility, and cost optimization.
  5. Modernising developer experience focusing on culture, practices, automation, and tooling.
  6. Architecting scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure for containerised applications.
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation strategies that reduce operational complexity and foster continuous improvement.

Roles may involve out-of-hours or on-call support, depending on client needs.

Key expectations

As a Consultant, you will:

  • Lead SRE initiatives with a focus on observability, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Provide strategic insights to shape SRE strategy and collaborate on designing scalable solutions.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
  • Contribute to business development activities such as proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership.
YOUR PROFILE

We seek someone with experience in SRE principles, observability, and cloud environments, comfortable in a dynamic, tech-driven environment, with expertise in:

  • Creating and managing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Implementing observability with tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.
  • Microservices and container orchestration for reliability and scalability.
  • Continuous delivery pipelines and automation tools.
  • Collaborating with developers to improve monitoring practices.
  • Strong teamwork and client engagement skills.

You must have SC (Security Check) Clearance or be willing to obtain it. Ability to work out-of-hours or on-call is also required.
