Job summary

Apple Services Engineering is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own and improve the massive-scale infrastructure powering App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, and more. You’ll work across Linux-based systems, build automated tooling, and collaborate with developers to deliver reliable services.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting distributed systems, code reviews, and evolving core platforms to support growth, privacy, and high availability in a hybrid data-center environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced programming in Go, Python, or Ruby with a passion for reliable systems.
• Strong ownership and deep systems/infrastructure knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with source code and artifact management, CI/CD (GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins).
• Automation advocate who reduces operational load with software.
• Solid Linux understanding and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Create outstanding customer experience and help developers write better code faster.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems on bare metal and hypervisors.
• Participate in code reviews with precise feedback.
• Continuously improve delivery processes within the team.
