Third Republic Limited is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and manage globally distributed, self-healing systems in London. You’ll work closely with developers, automate, monitor, and scale AWS infrastructure while championing reliability, performance, and security. The role offers equity and a strong pension, with flexible hours and learning opportunities.

Competenze

• Mastery of Linux and strong programming language skills.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS.
• Experience with security, performance and DR best practices.
• Proficient in web server configuration and monitoring.
• Strong scripting and automation abilities.
• Exposure to Puppet/Ansible/Chef and public cloud (AWS).
• Experience with Terraform, Docker and containers.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Own projects end-to-end from day one.

Mansioni

• Work closely with developers to support new features and services.
• Build tools to monitor site stability and performance.
• Scale AWS-based infrastructure and automate provisioning.
• Troubleshoot site issues using Splunk, SignalFx, and related tools.
• Automate with Puppet, Git, Jenkins and Terraform.
• Develop custom tools when off-the-shelf solutions fail.
• Design new systems, tests and procedures.
