Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making Luupli a success.

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to play a key role in our cloud migration initiative from AWS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for our high-traffic social media application. You will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and operational excellence of our new GCP environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at bridging the gap between development and operations while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability during and after the migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

Architect, design, and implement robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure on GCP using Terraform.

Platform Reliability & Automation:

Enhance system reliability and uptime through automation, monitoring, and proactive incident response. Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and disaster recovery strategies.

Container & Orchestration Management:

Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE) and deploy containerized applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

Work closely with development, security, and product teams to ensure seamless integration, adherence to best practices, and successful migration execution.

Monitoring, Logging, & Performance Tuning:

Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (using GCP’s Operations Suite) to proactively address issues and fine-tune system performance.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure the infrastructure complies with relevant security standards and policies, implementing practices like VPC configuration, IAM best practices, and Cloud Armor for protection.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud operations.

Deep expertise in AWS services and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud SQL, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud CDN, etc.).

Containerization & Orchestration:

Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably GKE). Experience managing containerized workloads in production.

Infrastructure-as-Code:

Strong experience with Terraform.

CI/CD and Automation:

Proven skills in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating operational processes.

Programming & Scripting:

Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation, scripting, and tool development.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools and a solid background in incident management and root cause analysis.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.

Compensation

This is a pre-seed, equity-only role, offering 1% equity as part of the founding team. There is currently no salary available until we secure Seed funding, at which point competitive compensation will be introduced. This role is ideal for someone seeking long-term ownership and impact in a purpose-driven, early-stage venture. (0.5% Equity)
