About Role:

We are a high-performing systems engineering team operating in a fast-paced enterprise environment, focused on modernising our infrastructure while upholding strict security and compliance standards. Our engineers work with Microsoft Hyper-V and a range of hybrid technologies to ensure our on-premises systems are cloud-ready, scalable, and resilient. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about infrastructure modernisation, experienced in virtualisation and hybrid cloud strategies, and capable of delivering secure, efficient solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Have extensive experience in managing Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, TypeScript).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V management.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration (Linux/Windows).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage, and security.
  • Collaborating with development and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
  • Automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM/BICEP, and scripting languages.
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues using observability tools.
  • Supporting cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Azure VMs, Azure Functions).
  • Maintaining and improving system documentation and operational procedures.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of learning and inclusion.
  • Continuously improving infrastructure reliability and reducing manual work (TOIL).
  • Participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
