Join us on the Splunk TechOps team, empowering our customers to make machine data accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone! The Splunk TechOps organization runs Splunk cloud, blending SRE, Systems Engineering, and Service Engineering disciplines across global teams.

What we're looking for

NOTE: 4 x 10h shifts: Wednesday - Saturday/8am-6pm

We are seeking a TechOps SRE to maintain, contribute to, and improve our large-scale Cloud offering. You will work with providers and support the infrastructure powering Splunk’s cloud.

You should apply if

  • you are comfortable working 4 x 10h shifts: Wednesday - Saturday/8am-6pm
  • You have operational experience at scale, with hands-on roles involving Linux and networking, and possibly Cloud technologies. Previous titles might include systems admin, network engineer, or devops engineer.
  • You're passionate about your work and enjoy actively taking responsibility and engaging with your projects.
  • You love working on large, complex, distributed systems and are interested in scaling solutions across thousands of machines.
  • You have some development skills, familiar with languages like Python, Shell, Go, or C++, and understand basic programming concepts.
  • You often ask, "How can I automate this process?"
  • You make decisions based on data and aim for proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • You care about monitoring, frequent code shipping, and adapting solutions as needed.
