What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing, creating, and delivering technical infrastructure code or services to improve the performance of customer-facing applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Taking responsibility for the stability and security of systems
- Communicating work status regularly to superiors
- Contributing to upgrades and standards for large-scale distributed systems
- Planning and demand forecasting, system tuning, and software performance analysis
- Defining best processes for the timely delivery of projects
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Moderate experience in virtualization technologies like VMWare, OpenStack, Xen
- Knowledge of containerization (basic level)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OPC
- Adept at Kafka, Cassandra, Apache Spark, HDFS
- Monitoring experience with Prometheus, Nagios, Icinga
- Experience with logging tools like Splunk or ELK stack
- Handling configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
- Comprehensive experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, GoCD, GitLab)
- Entry-level knowledge of networking, including load balancing, routing, and switching
- Good command of Python, Bash, Go, Java
- Basic knowledge of databases (entry-level)
- Prior experience in system administration tasks such as patching and upgrading
