Overview

Site Refrigeration Engineer - Ultra-low temperatures NHS / Pharmaceuticals Supply Chain / Life Sciences sector. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000k + Fully expensed vehicle with fuel card. Type: Full time permanent. Location: Nottingham + some UK travel to other sites. Sector: Pharmaceuticals / Life science supply chain, NHS warehouse, logistics, cold storage & distribution.

Responsibilities

• Day to day site maintenance / servicing
• Carry out maintenance, calibration and repair of environmental ultra cold storage
• Ultra-low temperatures
• F-Gas standards
• Experience of ISO 9001 Quality System environments

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of company refrigeration systems on manufacturing or storage sites in accordance with the procedures / SOPs / ISO 9001
• Day to day site maintenance / servicing, calibration and repair of environmental cold storage systems
• Respond to and complete emergency repairs to the installed equipment
• Ensure that the installed equipment is operating within the defined limits and that all Planned Maintenance is completed in accordance with the schedules issued
• Ensure that all Emergency Service work is completed in a timely manner maintaining the safe operation of the installed equipment
• Complete all works in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy
• Ensure that all appropriate tools and equipment are maintained in a usable and safe condition in accordance with Company policy and statutory legislation
• Carry out of hours weekend and bank holiday emergency site visits on an on-call rota basis

Person Specification / Qualifications

• Previous experience of working within a cold supply chain logistics environment
• Experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems
• A recognised qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential, with proven experience in refrigeration and site services
• F-gas qualification - essential
