Rullion Managed Services seeks a Site Based Quality Engineer to lead project quality on a major assignment in Orkney Islands. You will conduct audits, inspect against ISO 9001 standards, review ITPs, manage NCRs and ensure traceable quality records for handover.

Travel across the UK may be required; rotations on offshore island projects could occur. The role involves 50-hour weeks, a day rate of £450-£650, and Outside IR35 status.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a quality role within construction, infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience in highly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of audits, inspections, NCRs and quality management systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Act as the site quality lead for the project team, clients and subcontractors.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and contract requirements.
• Review and verify ITPs and associated quality records.
• Manage non-conformances, defects and corrective actions through to close-out.
• Monitor quality performance and provide weekly/monthly reporting.
• Support FAT/SAT activities, inspections and witness testing.
• Ensure accurate and traceable quality documentation for project handover.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to drive quality compliance.
