Job summary

Express Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the manufacturing site's quality function in Derbyshire. You will drive compliance with regulatory standards and act as a senior on-site leader supporting broader site objectives.

The role includes hosting external audits, championing continuous improvement, and ensuring all documentation meets industry regulations, enabling safe and effective products and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential.
• Significant experience in quality management.
• ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 auditing experience is essential.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Team managerial experience is required.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• HACCP qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site-wide compliance to relevant quality and regulatory standards.
• Host regular external audits and inspections for retailers and regulators.
• Champion continuous improvement and positive change on site.
• Provide general management support as a senior on-site leader.
• Keep all paperwork up to date and compliant with industry regulations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in the Healthcare, Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing sector essential

• ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 auditing experience essential

• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
• HACCP qualification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure site-wide compliance to relevant quality and regulatory standards is adhered to
• Host regular external audits and inspections to ensure quality compliance for retail clients and regulators
• Be an advocate and key driver for continuous improvement and positive change
• Provide general management support to the wider site as a senior leadership figure on-site
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and compliant with industry regulations
