Qualifications

• CSCS Black Card, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), First Aid at Work exigés.
• Expérience avérée dans la gestion de chantiers de logements neufs (volume ou sur mesure).
• Capable de démarrer immédiatement ou à court terme.

Responsibilities

• Superviser et coordonner toutes les activités de construction sur site.
• Gérer les sous-traitants et assurer que les travaux sont terminés en toute sécurité et à un haut niveau.
• Effectuer des inspections régulières du site et faire respecter les normes de santé et de sécurité.

Job Title: Site Manager – New Build Housing (Temporary)

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Rate: £23 – £25 per hour

Job Type: Temporary

Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build residential housing scheme in Oldham on a temporary basis. This is a key role on-site, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the project, from groundworks through to final handover.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and proactive manager with a strong background in housebuilding and a commitment to quality, health & safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard
• Monitor progress against the programme and report to senior management
• Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and enforce site health & safety standards
• Maintain site records and ensure compliance with NHBC/building regulations
• Liaise with suppliers, local authorities, and internal teams

Requirements:

• CSCS Black Card (essential)
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential
• First Aid at Work – essential
• Proven experience managing new build housing sites (volume or bespoke)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to start immediately or at short notice
