The Highfield Company is seeking a Site-Based Project Manager to oversee major structural steel projects across Europe. This hands-on role requires managing mobilisation through completion, coordinating with clients, main contractors, site teams, and internal design, fabrication and commercial functions.
Travel across Europe is extensive and you will ensure safety, quality and timely delivery while reading steel drawings and guiding subcontractors.
Location: Sites across Europe
Salary: €80,000 + Car + Expenses + Living Allowance

A market leading Structural Steel specialist is looking for an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major structural steel projects across Europe.
This is a hands-on role, managing projects from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with clients, main contractors, site teams, subcontractors and Wall Steel's internal design, fabrication and commercial teams.
Manage structural steel projects from start to finish.
Oversee site erection activities, programme and project delivery.
Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Liaise with clients, main contractors and project stakeholders.
Monitor programme, costs, variations and project performance.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Attend site and progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
Proven experience as a Project Manager within structural steel or steel erection.
Strong understanding of structural steelwork and site operations.
Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams.
Good commercial and programme management skills.
Confident dealing with clients and main contractors.
Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
Able to read and understand structural steel drawings.
Willing and able to travel extensively across Europe.
