Site Project Manager – Heavy Lifting Machinery & Automation

We have an exciting opportunity on Hinkley Point C for an international engineering company specialising in heavy machinery, automation, and technical support within the Nuclear industry.

You will oversee the on-site assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of highly specialised polar cranes on a Nuclear site. This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering technical excellence to clients across industrial sectors.

This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical or electromechanical professional who thrives in hands-on, site-based roles. If you enjoy problem-solving, leading teams, and delivering complex technical solutions while maintaining the highest safety standards, this job will suit you perfectly. Strong communication and adaptability are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee on-site assembly, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of specialised cranes.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing daily progress reports and technical updates.
  • Monitor project compliance with budgets and company procedures, providing regular internal reporting.
  • Supervise subcontractors and liaise with technical teams at head office for ongoing support.

In return you’ll receive a salary of up to £90,000 + an accommodation allowance, 25 days holiday, a matched pension up to 8% and Health Insurance.
