Job summary

Mars is seeking a Site Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through commissioning at our Melton Mowbray site. You will drive safe, secure, and environmentally responsible designs and installations across multiple disciplines.

You will rally cross-functional teams, balance multiple priorities, and foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, open communication, and delivery of milestones to keep our high-speed manufacturing sites at the cutting edge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in fast-paced industries such as food, beverage, pharma or FMCG is highly preferred.
• Foundational understanding of core engineering principles across multiple disciplines.

Job Summary

Compliance Champion: Comply with, reinforce, and champion all site and global safety, security, and environmental policies (HSE) on every project.

What are we looking for?

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline, Experience of hands-on experience in a comparable technical engineering position within fast-paced industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG is highly preferred.

A deep, foundational/functional understanding of core engineering principles across multiple disciplines (Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction, or Computer/Digital Services) to guide complex site project decisions.

Proven ability to work in team environments, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
