Bilfinger UK is seeking a Site Planner to join us at Hinkley Point C. The role involves developing, updating, and monitoring Level 4 HPC site programmes, and providing detailed site information to the Level 3 Project Control Team.

Key Competencies

• Ability to produce feasible activity programmes from a given scope of work.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with relevant parties and report accurate progress.
• Ability to anticipate and highlight critical programme areas for management action.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel for providing prompt, accurate, and regular information.
• Understanding of technical implications and interfaces to programme work effectively.
• Awareness of how planning impacts safety, quality, and cost considerations.

Key Accountabilities

• Produce necessary programmes at appropriate times to meet contract requirements.
• Monitor and update site programmes through regular discussions with key parties.
• Predict and communicate critical path deviations for management action.
• Utilize approved software packages to meet planning responsibilities.
• Incorporate emergent works into existing programmes effectively.
• Report progress regularly and record delays with reasons.

Key Duties

• Produce Level 4 programmes, including 4- and 16-week look-aheads.
• Continuously monitor programme performance.
• Incorporate programme variations.
• Report progress to Level 3 planner and Project Control Team.
• Manage planning activities in line with HPC project procedures.
• Identify potential problem areas and advise remedial actions.
• Develop and communicate resource requirements to meet project timelines.
• Analyze Earned Value Performance on the project.
• Forecast and report on physical quantities to be delivered on site, such as meterage and welds.
