Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established chemical distribution company looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy team at their independent chemical distribution site in Blantyre. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a great working environment and consistent hours. The role is classed as a Site Operator and involves a mix of forklift operation and basic warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload materials
• Working on the chemical plant distribution, ensuring correct handling and placement of stock
• Assisting with deliveries and dispatch
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and stock organisation
• Supporting the wider site operations team as required

Requirements

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a distribution environment
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
• Able to work independently and within a team
