Experienced Site Operative?

Do you enjoy working with people, care about the environment, and want the opportunity to receive health & safety training and gain further qualifications?

Location: North Sunderland, (between Alnwick and Berwick) Northumberland, NE68 7UP

  • Join our Northumberland Team as a Site Operative.
  • Shift pattern: Alternate weeks, Summer (April - October) 48 hours; Winter (November - March) 42 hours.

This role is part-time:

  • Working days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday every other week, with 10 days off between shifts.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the public on site to maximize material recovery.
  • Maintain records of site activities and material removal.
  • Manage container exchanges and booking loads to ensure proper site operation.
  • Undertake first aid and fire warden duties.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

This role offers an opportunity to learn about household waste recovery and recycling.

Requirements:

Seeking enthusiastic team players willing to understand site licenses/permits, work flexibly, and undertake personal development in waste management and site equipment operation.
