Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable Site Operative / Driver to support clean water repair works across Devon, based in Exeter. The role involves driving to sites, setting up signs and cones, and assisting with site operations. The position offers £17.79 per hour (umbrella PAYE) with 1pm/2pm start and 9pm finish, and training will be provided.

ASAP start; outdoors, heavy lifting required. No prior Streetworks ticket?

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.
• Willing to work outdoors and across Devon.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Site Operative / Driver to support clean water repair works across Devon. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road and working outdoors. Streetworks training will be provided, so previous Streetworks experience isn't essential.

The Role

• Driving from the Exeter base to sites across Devon
• Placing “No Parking” cones ahead of repair works
• Setting up and collecting signs, barriers and cones
• Assisting with backfilling when required
• Supporting safe and efficient site operations
• Regular manual handling and heavy lifting

What We Need

• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Happy driving across Devon
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Previous site, construction, utilities or highways experience beneficial but not essential
• No Streetworks ticket? No problem - training will be provided.
• A great opportunity to gain Streetworks qualifications while getting hands-on experience within the utilities sector.
