Job summary

An environmental services company is seeking a Site Operative in Newbury. You will manage site operations related to composting and waste management while ensuring sustainability. Qualifications

  • Required front shovel loader licence or equivalent.

What you'll be doing;

  • Checking incoming wastes, operating a front shovel loader to shred the waste, maintaining compost piles and compost finishing line
  • Carry out site operations of the compost site day to day activities
  • Responsible for Site Operations covering composts, leachate management
  • Deputise for senior site operator in their absence.
  • Responsible for plant and associated attachments on all sites, including maintenance.
  • Operate weighbridge
  • Checking incoming loads
  • Windrow turning using a front shovel loader

What we're looking for;

  • Front shovel loader licence or equivalent
  • Full driving licence
  • Previous experience in a similar operational role
  • Willing to complete CMS training
