Job summary

TechMet Ltd. in Strabane is seeking an Operations Manager to support site leadership and drive operational excellence across manufacturing, engineering and quality control.

You will implement CI initiatives, lead lean projects, and ensure safety, cost control and customer satisfaction while mentoring teams. The role deputises for the Head of Site Operations when required and focuses on performance data to improve yield and efficiency.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in manufacturing operations increasing productivity and efficiency.
• A strong leader with people management experience and preferably FMCG but not essential.
• A passion for leading & driving change across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure departments run efficiently and in line with customer needs, site standards and procedures.
• Encourage, coach & develop employees to lead their area effectively.
• Provide leadership across manufacturing operations including health, environmental, quality assurance and engineering.
• Analyse data to improve efficiency, yield and performance.
• Coordinate production plans with stakeholders to meet objectives for volume, cost and safety.
• Deputise for Head of Site Operations as required.
• Promote continuous improvement through lean principles across the site.
