A fast-growing self-storage operator is seeking a Site & Operations Manager to support the expansion of multiple new locations across Greater London. Backed by a nationally recognised brand and operating within a high-growth franchise network, this is a unique opportunity to join a hands-on, entrepreneurial team making self-storage more flexible, affordable, and accessible.

With multiple new sites launching and more in the pipeline, the business is offering the right person a chance to step into a pivotal, high-trust operational leadership role. ? Role Overview

The Site & Operations Manager will lead daily operations across a network of container-based self-storage sites. The role spans site management, logistics, customer service, local marketing, and administration.

You’ll oversee container deliveries and installations, manage on-site activity, support customers through move-ins, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of each location. This is a key role that blends hands-on operational duties with customer-facing and commercial responsibilities.

? Key Responsibilities

?️ Site Operations & Delivery Coordination

  • Oversee container deliveries and unit installations with precision and care
  • Manage logistics, inventory, and site layout across multiple locations
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and visual presentation

? Customer Success & Site Experience

  • Act as the primary contact for all customer enquiries and bookings
  • Guide customers through the entire storage process, from initial contact to move-in and ongoing support
  • Handle payments, renewals, and service queries with professionalism and care

? Business Growth, Marketing & Local Partnerships

  • Drive occupancy through customer follow-ups, local marketing, and community outreach
  • Manage walk-ins and convert warm leads passed on by the central sales team
  • Build local partnerships with estate agents, businesses, and contractors to increase awareness and referrals
  • Support and implement local promotions and pricing strategies
  • Ensure all sites meet safety, insurance, and compliance standards
  • Conduct routine checks and maintain accurate operational records

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in self-storage or similar evironment
  • Operational background with logistics, delivery coordination, and customer interaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident handling problems and people
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and pride in site presentation
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn digital systems and admin tools
  • Practical and proactive, comfortable working on-site and managing physical tasks
  • A natural problem-solver who is always looking for more efficient ways to work
  • Full UK driving licence required for regular site travel
  • Right to work in the UK
