Job summary

Aspion is hiring a Site Manager in Kirkby, Merseyside to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy recycling and processing site. You will lead a team across wash plant, crushing, screening and yard management while ensuring safety, efficiency and production targets.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong operations management experience in heavy industrial environments. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with competitive salary and overtime

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Manager, Operations Manager or Quarry Manager role.
• Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams.
• Experience within recycling, aggregates, quarrying, waste management or heavy industrial environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Confident communicator with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the daily running of the site, including yard operations, wash plant, crushing, screening and loading activities.
• Plan and coordinate daily workloads to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.
• Manage site layout, traffic flow, stockpiling and loading operations to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high operational standards.
• Lead, motivate and manage Supervisors, Operators and Site Operatives.
• Allocate labour and plant resources efficiently across the site.
• Ensure all employees receive appropriate training, inductions and ongoing development.
