Job summary

AMA Admin is seeking a skilled Site Manager to take daily control of a busy recycling and processing site in Kirkby. You will lead a team of Supervisors, Operators and Site Operatives, ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivery of production targets while controlling wash plant, crushing, screening and yard activities.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong planning, and a track record of improving site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or similar at a heavy-industry site.
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams and coordinate complex operations.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for daily site operations including wash plant, crushing, screening and loading activities.
• Plan workloads to maximise productivity and ensure production targets are met.
• Lead Supervisors, Operators and Site Operatives; manage labor and equipment resources.
• Deliver health, safety and compliance across the site with RAMS and permits.
• Oversee maintenance planning and minimize downtime with maintenance teams.
• Monitor quality and production, conduct inspections and drive improvements.
• Produce regular reports on site performance and improvements.
