The Role

Are you looking to take the lead in a finance role that's close to the action? At Sofina Foods, we're offering an exciting opportunity to step into a site-facing leadership role at our Fraserburgh site - who produce seafood products for a number of the UKs largest retailers.

As an experienced Operations or Management Accountant, you'll be the financial heartbeat of the site-leading a small, capable finance team and working closely with site leadership to deliver insights that genuinely shape our commercial and operational success. Reporting into the regional Scotland Seafood Finance Lead, you'll have both the responsibility and freedom to make your mark.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll be a qualified finance professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment, with the skills and mindset to drive improvement and influence change.

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with strong grounding in manufacturing finance
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a passion for improving processes
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Experience in food is a strong advantage

  • Act as the key finance lead on cross-functional projects-validating investments and championing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed, board-level capital expenditure proposals and support R&D claims.
  • Improve how the business connects financial goals with operational execution-across all levels of the site.
  • Ensure robust controls, clean reporting cycles, and full transparency across finance and operations.
