Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC is seeking a Site MSAT Lead to provide technical leadership for the MS&T function at our manufacturing site. You will oversee product and process technology, validation teams and ensure the technical direction aligns with site objectives.

As a senior member of the site leadership team, you will manage technology transfers, drive process improvements, and support manufacturing operations to maintain product quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master/PhD in life sciences, engineering, pharmaceutics, chemistry or similar.
Strong industrial experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
Hands-on knowledge of MS&T manufacturing and scale-up of drug products.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for industrialisation of new products on site.
Lead manufacturing optimisation and transfer projects (to/from other sites or CMOs).
Lead technical assessment and qualification of processes and equipment.
Identify formulation and process improvements aligned to continuous improvement.
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
Evaluate alternative sources of raw materials for PPV improvements.
Drive process capability and robustness improvements.
Manage MS&T team performance and development.
Promote collaboration across sister sites and foster engagement.
