Job summary

Dechra is seeking an MS&T Leader for our Skipton site to own technical direction and drive manufacturing excellence across product transfers and optimisations. You will lead the on-site MS&T team, partner with Co-Development and external partners, and mentor staff to sustain robust processes.

The role requires senior leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a strong background in MS&T, scale-up, and process development.

Qualifications

Leadership of a scientific team at a senior site level.
Strong industrial experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Practical knowledge of MS&T manufacturing and development.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for site industrialisation of new products and ensure execution.
Lead manufacturing optimisation and transfer projects across sites or CMOs.
Assess processes to troubleshoot products and select equipment/technologies; train staff.
Identify improvements and drive formulation/process optimisation and continuous improvement.
Support operations and resolve production issues impacting products.
Evaluate alternative raw material sources to support PPV improvements.
