A leading construction firm in London is seeking a Site MEP QA Manager to oversee project quality control. You will administer quality control plans, document inspections, and ensure compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate has proven experience in QA management and strong communication skills. Working hours are 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 4 PM on Friday, with a salary range of £40K - £45K.

Site MEP QA Manager Administer, action and monitor the project quality control plan in coordination with the Quality Control Manager, the Project Manager and the client’s requirements Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports Enforce project quality control plans and associated standards Review submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary Maintain continuous presence at the site during progress of the work Provide written QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner Document and distribute QA punch lists and the completion of these lists Responsible for maintaining QA procedures on site and keeping all relevant records, files and reports for inspections Assisting individuals on site in respect of QA procedures that were set up and are to be followed, monitoring their work and bring up the standards where necessary Attend preconstruction meetings where required and assist QC Manager with all Quality Issues Document such meetings in QC report Assist Project Team with any QA question(s) Maintain continuous reporting to QC Manager and Project Manager Assist with relevant project needs where necessary Confront non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner Prepare and track all RFI’s and DCVR’s for submission to the client and the designer Attend preconstruction meetings with new and existing subcontractors prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues that affect quality Maintains the project "as-built" drawings on a daily basis Schedule, document the results of, and maintain a log of all code and independent inspections that are required Clearly document, correct and re-inspect all non-conformances prior to completing the work Document final inspections Salary: £40K - £45k Working hours: 7:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 7:30am-4pm on Friday.
