Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a new build housing development in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Site Manager – New Build Housing

Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package
Employment: Permanent
Project: 90+ Unit High-Quality Residential Development
Start: Ideally within 6 weeks

We are working with an established residential developer looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a new development in Cirencester.

The scheme comprises over 90 traditionally built homes, with a strong emphasis on quality, finish and attention to detail. With a programme expected to run for approximately 2–3 years, this represents an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager looking for a secure, long-term project with a respected developer.

As Site Manager, you will take a key role in the day-to-day delivery of the development, managing subcontractors, programme, health & safety and build quality through to completion and handover.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day management of the construction programme
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams
  • Maintaining high standards of build quality throughout the development
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme
  • Monitoring progress and addressing potential delays
  • Managing inspections, snagging and handovers
  • Working closely with the wider technical, commercial and customer care teams
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards across site
About You

We are looking for somebody with a strong background in new build residential construction, ideally with experience delivering traditional build housing schemes where quality and finish are a major focus.

You must hold:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid

Scaffold Inspection or Scaffold Appreciation would be advantageous.

Previous experience working as a Site Manager for a recognised residential developer or housebuilder would be highly desirable.

Package

The successful Site Manager can expect a salary of up to £75,000 + package, dependent upon experience.

The developer is ideally looking to make an appointment shortly, with the successful candidate starting within approximately 6 weeks.

With a 2–3 year programme ahead and a high-quality residential product, this is a particularly strong opportunity for somebody looking for a long-term permanent position in the Cirencester/Gloucestershire area.
