Job summary

Loom Talent is seeking a Site Manager for our Motherwell site to take full ownership of warehouse and transport operations. You will lead and develop operational teams and drive service, efficiency and cost performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong CPC qualification, and a track record of improving KPI performance across warehousing and transport functions. A car allowance and performance bonus are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar in logistics.
• Strong dual expertise in warehouse and transport management.
• Experience managing sizeable operational teams in distribution environments.
• CPC qualification and knowledge of operator licences.
• Budgeting and cost control experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full operational responsibility for warehouse and transport functions across the site.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse and transport management teams.
• Drive service, productivity, fleet utilisation and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Operator Licence, DVSA regulations, drivers' hours and Working Time Directive.
• Manage site budgets, labour planning and costs.
• Oversee warehouse performance from inbound to dispatch.
• Monitor fleet performance and transport planning efficiency.
• Maintain health and safety, compliance and governance.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to improve end-to-end performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehousing and transport.
