Overview

Piling Recruitment Group (PRG) is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to join their team. This opportunity is flexible and can be either temporary with the potential to go permanent or straight permanent, depending on your preference. The ideal candidate will have experience in soil nailing, anchors, and trackside rail environments.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Supervise installation of soil nails and anchors, maintaining high quality and adherence to design specifications
  • Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders on site
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly on trackside rail sites
  • Monitor progress, maintain site records, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions to keep the project on track
  • Be available to travel to projects across the UK as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager / Site Agent in civil engineering or construction projects, ideally with soil nailing and anchors
  • Understanding of trackside rail site operations is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise site teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to travel to projects across the UK
  • A current PTS card is desirable but not essential
  • Health & Safety awareness and site compliance knowledge
