Site Manager - Planned works

Salary: up to £60k + Benefits • Location: Cambridge

We are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver an internal and external retrofit refurbishment project on Social Housing and decent homes works across the Cambridge area. This is a client-facing role responsible for delivering external refurbishment programs to tenanted properties, through effective management of the site team of Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers.

You must have experience delivering similar projects, including external cladding with a reputable main contractor, delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of driving sites through effective management and maintaining site presence.

Responsibilities

• Control the overall direction of the contract while maintaining financial control
• Work in partnership with the client and client representatives to ensure a high quality service delivery
• Cost control and subcontractor management
• Implement short, mid and long-term programmes for various work streams
• Carry out onsite inspections, undertake investigations and prepare reports with solutions for continuous improvement
• Hand over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicators
• Liaise with the client and contract administrators
• Maintain health and safety on the site
• Manage and control the site administration and staff
• Schedule and procure materials
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings
• Liaise with Design Teams, Client Representatives and Consultants
• Program works using MS Project

Requirements / Qualifications
