Role: Site Manager - Social Housing

Location: Chester

Salary: £48k plus package and car allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

The Role

Linsco is working with a highly reputable and well-established company to recruit an experienced Site Manager with expertise in Social Housing refurbishment, EWI, external schemes, and roofing schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a rolling programme of works.
  2. Co-ordinate and manage work assigned to trade operatives and subcontractors.
  3. Assist in planning and scheduling of installations and repairs.
  4. Monitor and update progress and key milestones on management information software.
  5. Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
  6. Conduct toolbox talks.
  7. Visit sites as necessary, managing customer issues and trade operative/contractor performance.
  8. Maintain strong communication with residents and key stakeholders at all times.
  9. Liaise with clients and attend contract performance meetings.
  10. Have a detailed understanding of specifications and drawings.
  11. Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities.
  12. Maintain a high level of health and safety compliance along with environmental considerations.
