Overview

We're recruiting a permanent Site Manager to work on shopfitting projects across the UK. Our client is an interior fit out contractor who specialise in projects in the retail sector. The company have offices in Burnley and Leeds and have an excellent reputation and history of producing quality, fast track fit out projects across the sector for some leading retail clients such as Ikea, Marks & Spencer and Primark. Projects can be nationwide so you must be willing to travel and to lodge away (lodgings will be provided).

The Role
  • This is a site-based role, reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers at all levels to ensure projects are managed efficiently.
  • Understanding and implementing project programmes independently and/or alongside Contract Managers.
  • Managing day to day sub-contract works to ensure these are undertaken safely, as per scope, programme and contract terms.
  • Completion, compliance and control of site paperwork including filing of documentation
  • Site / client facing meetings as necessary.
  • Working closely with and supporting Contracts Manager, Commercial Team, Directors and other team members on a regular basis.
  • Being aware of project programme dates, sub-contractors engaged to undertake the works, variations to works and completion dates.
Experience

5+ year\'s experience within a Site Management role on shopfitting or interior fit out projects.
