Job summary

United Infrastructure seeks an experienced on-site supervisor for roofing and externals in occupied social housing. You will lead on-site teams, run inductions and toolbox talks, and ensure work is delivered on time, safely and to the required standard.

You will maintain site records, coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors, manage PPE, and contribute to cost tracking while upholding customer service standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• CSCS Managers card required.
• SMSTS certificate required.
• First Aid at Work required.
• Valid driving licence required.
• Temporary Works Certificate desirable.
• Fire Marshall certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities related to roofing and externals in occupied social housing properties.
• Conduct comprehensive site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Monitor project progress against the programme, proactively resolving on-site issues to avoid delays.
• Ensure all works meet contractual, regulatory and safety requirements and are delivered to high quality standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure smooth site operations and project milestones.
• Ensure all personnel are trained and equipped with appropriate PPE and tools.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and approving day works.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards and support community engagement initiatives.
