Job summary
Recycling Lives Services in Preston invites an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient running of our recycling site. You will lead a large operational team, drive performance and ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
This hands-on role covers operations, performance, people development and continuous improvement, with accountability for budgets, KPIs and on-site operations, including WEEE and meter recycling
Qualifications
- Proven Site Manager or Operations Manager experience in recycling, waste management or manufacturing.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
- Experience leading 50+ employees.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility for out-of-hours work.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day site operations ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient performance.
- Plan workloads, manage resources and equipment to meet targets.
- Oversee receipt, processing and recycling of end-of-life displays and meters.
- Ensure accurate material tracking, stock control and traceability.
- Drive efficiency, maximise material recovery and minimise downtime.
- Manage site budgets, labour costs and KPIs, reporting to leadership.
- Lead safety, environmental compliance and incident investigations.
