Site Manager - Retrofit FTC
North Wales HQ (on site) £45,000 - £50,000 Fixed Term Contract, Permanent

Thomas Search are working on behalf of a values driven market shaping consultancy on a mission to accelerate the transition to low - carbon, affordable-to-heat homes. As part of their next phase of growth, we are looking to appoint a Site Manager, with strong Retrofit experience.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling social enterprise at the forefront of sustainable retrofit, for a proficient Site Manager with experience in large scale domestic retrofit programmes. It is a 4-month fixed term contract and is a critical role to deliver across the North Wales community, ensuring quality, safety and delivery.
As Site Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in overseeing, coordinate site-based delivery. You will be a key contact with contractors, internal teams and residents and will ensure compliance with PAS2035 standards, whilst maintaining quality, customer satisfaction and timelines.
You'll join a supportive environment and work alongside a high performance, high delivery team, ensuring the prioritisation of environmental and resident wellbeing.

Day to day:
  • Manage on-site delivery across multiple retrofit projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth coordination of works.
  • Uphold CDM and H&S regulations across all locations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents during works.
  • Coordinate with contractors to maintain programme momentum.
  • Promote clear, proactive communication on timelines and access.
  • Maintain accurate records, site diaries, and defect logs.
  • Ensure all works align with PAS 2035, funding scheme requirements, and internal QA standards.
Ideal skill set
  • Site management experience across multiple properties or locations.
  • Proven track record in retrofit or construction delivery.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety (CDM 2015, RAMS).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel across North Wales.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)
  • Experience delivering retrofit works under PAS 2035 / ECO4 / SHDF
  • First Aid at Work certification
