A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Site Manager for a major mechanical project in Deeside. This role involves managing a team for the installation of heavy machinery and ensuring project delivery within timescales and budgets. The ideal candidate will hold SMSTS / NEBOSH / IOSH certifications and have proven experience in managing mechanical projects on industrial sites. This contract offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a significant project over 7-12 months.

• Confident, professional, and articulate communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation of heavy machinery on-site.

Role: Site Manager

Location: Deeside.

Hours: 7:00-17:00 Monday to Friday with weekends available

Duration: 7-12 months

Role:

• Due to recent project wins, our client has a requirement for Site Manager for a major mechanical project in Deeside. Duties will include managing the installation of heavy machinery and will include:
• Managing a team of mechanical site trades
• Planning work on a daily basis
• Working to a tight overall programme, keeping within the timescale and budgets, and managing any delays or problems encountered on-site
• Completing daily reports detailing the work being carried out.
• Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of Health and Safety

Requirements:

• SMSTS / NEBOSH / IOSH certificate
• CSCS / CCNSG card
• Experience of managing Mechanical projects on industrial sites
• Goal-oriented, organised, team player
• Proficient with all Microsoft office packages
• Confident, professional, and articulate
• Proactive and tenacious
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
