SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is recruiting for a Site Manager (Overhead Lines) to lead construction activities across Scotland. The role requires managing on-site teams, ensuring safety, and coordinating with contractors to deliver major overhead line projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has experience in higher voltage works and RAMS/permit systems, with SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid certifications. Competitive pension and benefits accompany a 37-hour week.
Site Based role – We have projects in the East Coast, Central Belt, Borders, Glasgow, Ayrshire & Dumfries and Galloway. This is a site-based position with travel across multiple project locations. You must be able to commute to site daily. Salary: up to £62,425, with a strong benefits package, optional overtime opportunities and our excellent pension scheme, where we’ll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%. As a Site Manager (Overhead Lines), you’ll join an experienced and well-regarded multi-disciplined Construction team with strong overhead line, cable and substation expertise. You’ll be responsible for the construction of new build, replacement and refurbishment of major overhead line projects, working in a supportive environment where practical site knowledge is valued and high-profile projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Acting as the client’s primary on-site representative, you’ll take ownership of site activities and provide technical support and guidance throughout the overhead line construction phase.
